The weather is heating up here in the PNW which means I'm trading in my cozy crewnecks and leggings for outfits more appropriate for the heat. Summer attire has never really been my jam, so I am sharing a few outfits that work for curvy bodies, that are appropriate for the office or every day wear, and transitional from the spring season into summer. They also are budget friendly.
Most of you know that I am pretty frugal and like to stick to a budget. Now that I am a single mom, sticking to a budget and creating a wardrobe that is affordable is crucial for me. When shopping, I like to look for staple pieces like basic tees and tanks, a good pair of denim jeans and shorts, and pieces that I can use year round.

I love a simple outfit like this one for summer. A simple linen tee, denim jeans or shorts, and these adorable sandals pull it all together. I love the olive hue, the twisted knot detailing, and overall these sandals are pretty comfortable. They do run a little small, so I recommend that you size up in these. They come in various colors and are a great staple for the summer.

This look is for those who have to dress up a little for work or just want to look more put together. I love a good pair of jeans and these wide-leg pants are one of my favorites in my closet. They are old, but you can find similar pairs online or in stores. I paired it with a tank tucked in, a classic blazer over it, and those adorable gold buckle mules for a more polished look. These gorgeous mules come in black, white, and beige and make any outfit look chicer and more polished. I love the gold detailing on the buckle, the shine from the shoe, and these are very comfortable to wear all day. They do run small, so definitely size up in these.

How cute are these shoes though? I love them and am contemplating buying them in every color! I love the sage color. I find it such a pretty hue and have been buying a lot of tops for summer in this color. Hands down, these pumps are super comfortable. The heel isn't too high (more of a kitten heel) and the plastic straps don't dig into your foot like other heels that I have in a similar style. These are probably my favorite shoes from Arromic and I will be getting one or two more pairs in different colors. I am a sucker for a good yellow and you can't go wrong with a classic pair of black heels either. I highly recommend you get a pair of these pumps.
I paired these with my cropped mint top tucked in, faux leather skirt, and thrifted lace blazer for a casual look. This would be cute for lunch with the girls or a date with your bae. You could even dress it down by wearing a denim jacket and sneaks too.

I love this look. It's a perfect brunch outfit with the girls or a casual date look. I paired it with these beautiful beige pointed-toe pumps and think it completes the overall look. These heels are also very comfortable. The heel is a kitten heel, so no need to worry about your feet hurting when you wear these walking around town. The material is a soft fabric and I opted to wear toe socks with these. Overall, these pumps are adorable! They also come in black and yellow.
