Make a Difference with Caffe Dali

This post has been brought to you by Caffe Dali and contains affiliate links. I was not financially compensated for this post; however, received products to review for free. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Since becoming a mom, I can't function without a warm cup coffee every morning. My day just doesn't feel the same without it. I love coffee and appreciate its deliciousness throughout the day. I am a big fan of medium roast and enjoy a good coffee at least three times a day.

Caffe Dali uses only the highest quality of Arabic beans from Central and South America, East Africa, and Asia. The beans are purchased directly from family farms and are part of Direct Trade which is way better than Certified Fair Trade. With Direct Trade it ensures that farm workers are being paid equitably for their labor. You can feel good knowing that you are drinking the highest quality coffee. I have teamed up with Caffe Dali not only to endorse their delicious coffee but to also bring awareness to their cause.

Every year tens of thousands of young girls and boys are sold into the sex trafficking industry. Caffe Dali has partnered with Destiny Rescue to save these children from being sexually exploited and abused. 20% of their profits goes to help rescue these youth and over the last five years, over a thousand children have been freed from the horrors of slavery around the world. This issue hits very close to home for me. In the Portland Metro Area alone, child sex trafficking has become a major issue and has become entwined with gang affiliations. Will join Caffe Dali, Destiny Rescue, and myself in the fight to bring an end to child slavery?

By purchasing Caffe Dali coffee you are making a difference not only in our society but worldwide. Use code SIMPLYDURANT to get a discount off your purchase and know that you are helping to  save the lives of children.

KidloLand App Review

This post is brought to you by KidloLand and is a sponsored post. I was not financially compensated for this post; however, received subscription to KidloLand for free. Photos belong to KidloLand. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Please note that I only do reviews on products that I truly believe in.

My kids often ask to play games on my phone when we are hanging out at home, driving in the car, or in need of a cure to kick that, "I'm bored" bug that we hear so often in the summer time. I have purchased and download a bunch of different apps over the years and let's be real, most of them were epic fails and instantly deleted from my iPhone.

The few apps that I have found that reach my standards are great. I am all about educational but fun apps for my kids. Each of my kids has specific needs but at the end of the day the app needs to keep them engaged. KidloLand does just that!

All three of my kids like this app but my daughter Aurora loves it. She plays it everyday and likes the interactive children's songs and lullabies. KidloLand is pretty easy for her to navigate on her own and if she needs help with something she asks mom or dad for help.

There are many choices for her to choose from. KidloLand is designed for ages 0-5. It has over 260+ nursery rhymes and educational songs and over 100+ games and activities. What I love about this app is the fact that it helps build on cognitive skills and fine motor skills. It also doesn't have advertisements which means no accidental downloads of things you might not want on your phone or tablet.

KidloLand focuses on the following academic areas:

- Math and number comprehension with Connect the Dot activities and Sorting Activities
- Jigsaw Puzzles to develop problem solving and fine motor skills
- Cognitive skills are developed with Shape Recognizing Activities
- Imagination and creativity are developed with Coloring Activities
- Other fun activities help to develop fine motor skills, memory, and build growth mindset for future learning

I highly recommend KidloLand to all parents. It is a great app and has received multiple awards and badges and has been recommended by 90+ mom bloggers around the world. To purchase your own  KidloLand app from the iTunes store click here. For Google Play Store click here. And for Amazon App Store click here. It's both compatible with iOS and Android.

Red, White, and Blue Crew: Kids 4th of July Outfit Inspiration

This post contains affiliate links.

I love dressing my kids up for the holidays. It all started when my oldest son was born. Every Independence Day I would buy him a cute outfit to wear and it's still a tradition in our home. I know my little one's love an excuse to get a new outfit and I love an excuse to buy them one.

You can find all sorts of cute 4th of July inspired outfits in pretty much every department store. I found some great pieces for the kids at K-Mart this year and like always, my checkbook was happy it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

If you haven't bought your kids an outfit for the 4th, this post is perfect for you! There is still plenty of time to head to your nearest K-Mart or other store to buy your kiddo's a cute outfit for tonight's festivities.

For Amari I got him a cute "Home of the Brave" graphic tee. He is all about being comfortable so I kept his look simple.

For Talan I got him the "Stars & Stripes" set. The shorts are sweatpants material and are super comfy. Talan isn't really a fan of denim so he often rocks athletic wear.

And for Aurora I got her a super cute denim star print dress and her moccasins are Red White N Boutin from Sweet 'N Swag. She's my girly-girl and I just love putting her in cute dresses.

In total, I spent less than $20 on all three outfits. K-Mart was having a "Buy one get one free" sale and I got an extra 0.54 cents off with my Rewards.

I hope you all have a fabulous Independence Day! Be safe and have a blast celebrating America's birthday. Happy 4th of July y'all!

Chocolate Banana Popsicles

Its summer and who doesn't love a sweet treat to eat? My kids love popsicles but they are loaded with too much fructose corn syrup and dyes. I have seen all sorts of delicious popsicle recipes all over Pinterest and wanted to make my own recipe for the kids to try. I had a bunch of bananas that were a little too ripe to eat and it was way to warm out to bake so I decided to try my take on banana Popsicles. I added my favorite Bliss Nut Butter and chocolate to add to the deliciousness of the bananas.

Ingredients -

4 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cup Silk Coconut milk
3 teaspoons Bliss Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon Chai Seeds
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

Directions -

1. Put ripe bananas in food processor. Add milk and peanut butter. Blend until combined. Add chai seeds to mixture and blend on low.

2. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl. Scoop chocolate into tips of the popsicle molds.

3. Scoop banana mixture into molds and add the handles. Freeze for 24 hours. *I had leftover mixture so I just froze it and made it into ice cream.*

My kids really liked these and I didn't feel guilty about letting them indulge on a healthy summer treat! Enjoy.

"Bobo Garage - Car Games for Kids, Toddlers, and Preschool" App Review

This post has been brought to you by AppelsIn App and contains affiliate links. Photos of Bobo belong to AppelsIn App. I received the "Bobo Garage" app for free. All thoughts and opinions about "Bobo Garage" are my own. Please note that I only do reviews on products that I truly believe in.

As a busy mom of three I am always looking for fun apps for my children to play with while we are out and about on the weekends running errands in town, heading up north to visit family in Oly, or just hanging out at home. I am all about educational apps and games to get their little brains learning. I have tried my fair share of apps and have found a few that I actually like and that the kids enjoy playing while they are learning something.

AppelsIn App reached out to me to test their brand new app "Bobo Garage" with my toddler and preschooler. Bobo Garage is a new car game for kids and is geared towards children between the ages of 2 through 4. It's packed full of bright colors and sounds and both my kids love the silly faces that Bobo makes every time the garage door opens and closes.

The app focuses on the following skills for young children:

- Improves motor skills
- Recognize sounds
- Recognize colors
- Improves memory skills

My daughter absolutely adores finding all the hidden critters hiding in the scene and making flowers in the lawn. My son enjoys painting Bobo different colors and the sound of the engine starting. He loves cars so this app is perfect for him.

What I love about this application is the fact that it's geared towards both girls and boys. It's easy for young children to figure out without help from mom or dad and it entertains them for a good amount of time. Even my six-year-old likes this app and asks to play it often.

I highly recommend this this app to all parents. Its perfect for your baby or toddler's first app! To purchase your own "Bobo Garage" from the iTunes store click here. It's both compatible with iOS and Android.
