Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Yesterday morning the Durant families headed to Lattin's Country Cider Mill and Farm to pick out our carving pumpkins for Halloween. Like an idiot, I forgot my camera. Usually I keep the crappy Olympus one in the car but I took it out on Thursday when cleaning out the car... Merde! Thankfully, Betsy brought along hers and I managed to get trigger happy and take lots and lots of pictures of our adventurist outing to the pumpkin patch.

Amari loved the petting zoo! He got to pet a goat and look at sheep. He was in animal heaven. Trev kept cracking jokes and making fun of Ness by saying that he could smell her from five feet away when we were near the goats. *sigh* Why must big brother's always be so mean to their sweet little sisters? After spending a few minutes at the zoo we went to check out the birds. While we were looking at them, we saw a man that looked just like Poppi Steve, only he was wearing black jeans instead of blue ones. Steve and Betsy went to get apple fritters and cider but Trev, Ness, and I were cracking up and went on a mission to find them! Amari was more than ecstatic that Grammy and Poppi had bought him a fritter and chowed down on the most delicious apple fritter made in the Olympia area. We told Steve about his twin and had to go and find him, LOL. Both Betsy and Steve didn't think that he looked like him though.

We headed to the pumpkin patch with Amari after enjoying our yummy fritters. =) He loved trumping through the patch with his Auntie and trying to pick up every pumpkin (even the yucky moldy ones!). He kept calling the pumpkins "balls" and trying to throw them. It was pretty precious watching him trying to pick up pumpkins that were the size of him. He had a blast, threw a few fits when we would take a pumpkin away from him, but eventually he found his pumpkin and I cannot wait to carve it with him in a few short weeks. We had a wonderful time at Lattin's Country Cider Mill this year. =D

Amari wanted this one, but Daddy said "no," LOL.

Unhappy because he couldn't throw "balls" also known as pumpkins around the patch.

The boys and their pumpkins.
Note: Steve's twin is behind him in the hat, glasses, and black jacket. LOL
Everyone else is happy but Amari.
He wanted to hold his pumpkin.
