Hello ladies! Spring is here which means that summer is here in a few short weeks. And with summer coming it means sunshine, heat, sipping on rose, and trying to even out them tan lines while you received multiple wedding invitations in the mail. Not only am I bridesmaid in my little sister's wedding this summer but I have received multiple wedding invites from close friends and family members. August is going to be a crazy month and I have no idea what I am going to wear!

As a wedding guest, finding the perfect dress to wear is an incredibly daunting task and I often get overwhelmed when I go shopping. For me, re-wearing the same dress to back-to-back weddings is a huge no-no, especially with so many photo opts and selfies due to the wonderful world of Instagram. Just remember a few golden rules when you go looking to purchase your dress:

- DO NOT WEAR WHITE! Obviously, it’s a no go. The only person who should be wearing white is the bride.

-  Funky colors like neons or wild print patterns. Go with a simple color that flatters your skin tone or a simple print that won’t make you stand out more than you’d like too.  You can also try a dress with ruffles or lace for a soft and feminine look.

- It’s better to be overdressed than under dressed. When in doubt dress to the nines!

- What is the wedding theme? Black tie affair, formal, beach themed, semi-formal, or casual? Once you know the theme of the wedding it will make it easier to shop for a dress.
