Pregnancy Week 35: Baby #2

Let the countdown begin! 28 more days and counting until we meet our new little bundle of joy. Last Thursday we got a call from the hospital to let us know that our C-section date will be on Tuesday, November 13th at noon. It is nice knowing when he will be gracing us with his presence. No need to stress or worry anymore on my part. I do have a fear of going into labor before my scheduled date though seeing as it is so close to my due date. I just have to hope that baby T doesn't have any plans of his own. He is a Scorpio after all and we have a tendency to be mysterious. I have been trying my best to keep a belly photo log (which I dislike a lot because I hate taking pictures of myself) and I am a little bummed that I did not do this when I was pregnant with Amari. It is kind of fun seeing how much your belly changes in a span of just a few short weeks. Energy wise, it comes and goes. Sometimes I just want to close my eyes and pass out in the car while at work but I can't. I plan to go on maternity leave as of November 3rd and will rest, rest, rest the week before my surgery and focus 100% of my attention on my first born son. Maybe he will be nice and take long naps with me during the day. The headaches have gone away (thank God!) but swollen feet and ankles have replaced the throbbing pounding in my brain that I have been experiencing over the last week. I just wish that I could kick the dark bags underneath my eyes from lack of sleep. It also doesn't help that they are hereditary. Other then that, I am feeling great! Baby T is still measuring a whole week and half ahead and we have come to learn that he is in fact breech and laying sideways. Yikes! No wonder I feel little elbows and knees in my ribs throughout the day. So far he is 17 to 18 inches tall, weighs in around 4.2 to 5.8 pounds (maybe more), and is the size of a coconut!
